The road is as important, if not more so then the destiination. The road is the process that gets us to where we are going. The destination is the end desired goal, achievement we are aiming for,
I liked to get where I was going with the most straight shot, so I have not always been a fan of the process, But over time I have come to see that “speedy” does not always get us the most value in the end.
0 90% of the time, or more, is actually spent in process
o Onlly 10%, or less, of the time is spent in arriving at our final destination, goal
Although we want to speed our trip along the road, the process, it is often the sights, insights, understanding, and course corrections that make our arrivial at our destination so much more meaningful.
When I was working on my Dissertation for my PhD in Natural Health I really struggled with the process. I had to stop so many times and wait for understanding and insight on how to proceed.
Each time I felt the process might never end. But when I arrived at the destination, and actually completed my Dissertation I was suprised at the benefits the process had produced. When I looked back at how far I come in understanding I was so glad it had worked out the way iit did,
We do most of our preparation in the process so we are prepared for the destination, the success, the goal, at the end of the road.
